NASA Astronauts Return to Earth After Unexpectedly Extended Space Mission
Due to issues with Boeing's Starliner capsule, astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore had to extend their stay on the International Space Station beyond the original schedule. They are now finally returning to Earth aboard a SpaceX Dragon capsule. Accompanied by NASA astronaut Nick Hague and Russian cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov, the group, known as Crew-9, left the space station early Tuesday morning at 1:05 a.m. ET. Their splashdown near the Florida coast is anticipated around 5:57 p.m. ET.
