Man in Custody Following Quadruple Homicide and Highway Shootings in Maine

The authorities were initially alerted on Tuesday morning about the situation at the Bowdoin home, where the four deceased victims were discovered, according to state police Lieutenant Randall Keaten. Shortly afterwards, reports started to come in about multiple vehicles being struck by bullets on I-295 near Yarmouth, located about 40 minutes from Bowdoin.
Three individuals, including one in critical condition, were hospitalised after being shot while driving. Keaten encouraged any road users whose vehicles had been hit by gunfire to reach out to authorities for follow-up investigations. He confirmed a connection between the homicides and the highway shootings, but assured the public there was no further threat.
The bodies of the four victims have been sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta for autopsy to determine their exact cause of death.
