Jake Gyllenhaal and Jamie Lee Curtis spent the Covid-19 lockdown together

Jake Gyllenhaal and Jamie Lee Curtis shared their experiences of spending the Covid-19 lockdown together, engaging in activities like baking sourdough bread and doing handstands. The actor and his girlfriend, Jeanne Cadieu, stayed in a house owned by Curtis, who is Gyllenhaal's godmother and a close friend of his parents, Stephen Gyllenhaal and Naomi Foner.

Curtis, who recently won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, mentioned at the premiere of Gyllenhaal's latest thriller, "The Covenant," that they became closer during this period. "He and Jeanne lived next door for almost a year during the pandemic," she said.

Gyllenhaal embraced the bread-baking trend and entertained their small group with singing, acting, and performing handstands. Curtis shared, "He made a lot of sourdough bread and even did the challenge where you do a handstand against the wall, take your shirt off, and put it back on."

Gyllenhaal noted that his passion for baking continues. "I still eat sourdough," he remarked. "Even though the pandemic is over, I'm still making it."

His new movie, a military thriller directed by Guy Ritchie, features Alexander Ludwig, Antony Starr, Bobby Schofield, and Jonny Lee Miller.
