Watch: Smiles and hugs as new crew arrives on ISS

A SpaceX capsule has successfully docked with the International Space Station, bringing a new crew on board and allowing astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams to prepare for their return to Earth. Initially scheduled for an eight-day stay, the two astronauts ended up spending over nine months on the ISS due to technical problems with the spacecraft they arrived in. Video footage captured the moment the SpaceX Crew Dragon connected with the ISS, and the astronauts were seen exchanging smiles and hugs with their colleagues in the weightless environment shortly after 0545 GMT.
