Lt. Randall Keaten of the state police mentioned that multiple vehicles were hit by gunfire, urging anyone with damage to their vehicles to contact the authorities. He confirmed that the incidents at the Bowdoin home and the highway are connected, assuring the public that there is no ongoing threat.
The deceased have been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta for autopsies to determine the cause of death. Authorities are seeking information from anyone who witnessed the events or has relevant details.
